With spring in full bloom, we embarked on a journey to scale new heights! To celebrate the successful achievement of Roson Medical’s 2024 performance goals and honor the dedication of every team member, while further strengthening camaraderie, the company organized a three-day, two-night retreat in Sanya, Hainan, marking its 20th anniversary. This heartwarming, laughter-filled, and inspiring getaway recharged the team as we set sail toward even grander aspirations!

The Journey – Scaling Heights, Discovering Sanya’s Wonders

Breaking away from high-intensity competitive activities, Roson embraced a relaxed and enjoyable approach, allowing everyone to unwind and savor three carefree days.

Under April’s gentle sunshine, coconut groves and sandy beaches stretched endlessly, while the sea breeze carried a refreshing saltiness. A banner reading “Roson’s 20 Years: Together Beyond Boundaries” unfurled in the hands of the Roson family—here, there were no KPIs chasing after us, no meeting reminders, only precious moments of togetherness.

Tropical Splendor: A Dialogue with Nature

The first stop was a leisurely stroll along the pristine coastline of Yalong Bay. Some walked barefoot, leaving footprints in the soft sand; others gathered in small groups, capturing smiles under swaying palm trees; while a few simply relaxed on beach chairs, gazing at the distant horizon where sea met sky.

We trekked through lush rainforests, brushing against damp vines and dappled sunlight; snorkeled in the crystal-clear waters of Wuzhizhou Island, marveling at vibrant fish darting past; and stood in awe at Tianya Haijiao, where emerald waters, sailing boats, and towering rocks merged into a breathtaking panorama. In these moments, every expectation transformed into wonder.

Culinary Delights: A Feast for the Senses

Hidden in Sanya’s bustling streets were flavors that awakened the senses—a true celebration of local life.

As evening fell, we wandered through alleys, savoring authentic delicacies: freshly caught seafood grilled to perfection as the sunset gilded the waves; tender Wenchang chicken and sweet coconut broth in cozy eateries; chilled qingbuliang (a tropical dessert) and artisanal ice cream to beat the heat. Laughter and chatter filled the air, blending with the aroma of shared joy.

Cultural Immersion: Echoes of History

Beyond its natural beauty, Sanya boasts a rich cultural heritage. We visited the serene Nanshan Cultural Park and the timeless Fairy Caves, where ancient legends intertwined with tranquil landscapes. These landmarks mirrored Roson’s own journey—two decades of innovation and humanity, forging a legacy as enduring as Sanya’s spirit.

Shared Visions: Inspiring 2025, Rallying New Goals

At its core, this retreat was about connection. During the opening banquet, Mr. Chen Shi, Chairman of Roson Medical, delivered an uplifting address, expressing gratitude for the team’s extraordinary efforts in surpassing annual targets and reaffirming the company’s commitment to its people. He urged everyone to channel this renewed energy into driving Roson toward sustained excellence.

Mr. Chen Zhi, General Manager, then unveiled Roson’s 2025 performance objectives, calling for a united sprint toward year-end milestones with passion and determination.

As lights shimmered and laughter flowed, Roson’s family gathered for heartfelt exchanges. Senior leaders shared stories of triumphs and trials, while veteran employees reminisced about their growth with the company. Interactive games like “Guess the Red Envelope” and balloon relays sparked joy, deepening bonds of trust and camaraderie.
